Privacy Policy

  • This website is currently getting updated on many fronts, some stuff may be broken.

As new EU law applies from May 25th 2018 we are required to have a privacy policy. We want to inform you that we are an amateur group who is not a registered bussiness. The data we collect is kept to a minimal. What we really need are: username, e-mail in order for people to use the website and post on it. Any posts made are done so voluntarily.

Who we are

Our website address is:

We are Team Semper Fi, a multi-gaming clan ran by several people across Europe. We are not in a fixed location, however it is likely we will follow Dutch regulation as the founder is Dutch and so is most of the leadership.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

(Done through Google Adsense to our knowledge)

We do not track any analytical data ourselves, however this website is linked with a Google Adsense account. It may occur that Google is collecting data from this website as a result.

Who we share your data with

Nobody, the data we receive is for our eyes only. As mentioned before, most data we receive we immediatly destroy.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

For direct contact with the Website Admin please search for SemperFi-Honor he is the person who works on the website now. However, please keep in mind that he has no actual knowledge on building websites and such. We try to comply to our best to follow regulations.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you (however we have no clue how we can do this easily), including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Additional information

Once again, we’re amateurs when it comes to this and the new Privacy laws in the EU are very tough for us to follow up. We understand the laws itself but not how to create a perfect website for this to comply 100% perfectly but we do our best. We do not have the funds to get legal aid to get this done for us.

How we protect your data

The website is regularly updated and we trust that our host is also up-to-date at all times.

What data breach procedures we have in place

All access will immediately be blocked for everyone except the administrators. If we detect a data breach we are likely to decide to immediately remove all present data and wipe the entire website clean.

What data can be stolen at most? Your used username and e-mail address.

What third parties we receive data from

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We do everything manually.

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

No clue what this can be.
